Summer is gone, time to reset your mood.

Summer’s gone and the time is now for new playlist favourites to set the temperature for the remaining months of 2018. Future R’n’B comes  in timely fashion and out on top this week, and here’s a collection of some of the finest from the U.K and U.S.

Gallant – ‘Haha No One Can Hear You!’

Taken from his upcoming collection of new tracks, ‘THIS DOES NOT FIT’ singer, songwriter Gallant returns with a brand new track ‘Haha No One Can Hear You!’. Sentimental and seductive, vibrant and vulnerable Gallant strikes the ultimate balance. Building his presence as an R’n’B musician since 2014, Gallant is firmly on the frontline in keeping R&B strong, long into the future.

Louis III – ‘So Far’

Louis III is steadily marking himself out as one of the UK’s most intriguing Pop-Soul voices and today he returns with new track, ‘So Far’. His third single, ‘So Far’ follows previous tracks ‘Goosebumps’ and his debut ‘Fever Thoughts‘. Half St. Lucian, half German, singer songwriter Louis III pulls influences from all corners of his childhood music education from Bob Marley to Leonard Cohen placing his love of storytelling at the heart of every release. Speaking on the new track he says, “The song is about devotion, and where that can take you. When two people can’t control themselves and temptation gives way to something else at any time and anywhere”

Masego – ‘Old Age’ FT SiR

It’s about time, and we couldn’t be readier. ‘Lady Lady’ the debut album from Masego is arriving this September and in anticipation Masego shared his new single ‘Old Age’, as an ode to ageless love. Inspired by a Katt Williams stand up special, Masego has collaborated with SiR in celebration of older women, “The main theme of that show was how slept-on older women are,” he told NPR Music. “They got food in their fridge, make love better, and can just know what they want outta life.”

Lauren Faith – Just a Little (prod by Kaytranada)

Produced by Kaytranada, ‘Just A Little’ from Lauren Faith has that perfect pick-me up groove to get you in the mood. Synth heavy slices of future R’n’B fall in place as Lauren rides smoothly over the melody, singing about a mysterious love. “Just A Little is a fun but mysterious and ultimately seductive song about the mysteries of lust and being in the unknown before a relationship develops.” A lover of ’70’s Funk and Neo-Soul, the London-based singer continues to land wins both as a singer and songwriter (including two tracks on Craig David’s UK number one album ‘Following My Intuition’.

Sabrina Claudio – Messages From Her

“No Rain, No Flowers’ is an inside look into my journey of healing and growth. Rain symbolizes darkness but also represents an essential part of rebirth. If there is no rain, there are no flowers,” Sabrina Claudio has said of her deeply personal new project. ‘Messages From Her’ arrives as the newest release from Claudio and the follow up to her earlier track ‘Numb’. Taking on an end of summer vibe, ‘Messages From Her’ soaks up the last rays of light in a nocturnal ballad all about healing
