Summer’s gone and the time is now for new playlist favourites to set the temperature for the remaining months of 2018. Future R’n’B comes in timely fashion and out on top this week, and here’s a collection of some of the finest from the U.K and U.S.
Gallant – ‘Haha No One Can Hear You!’

Louis III – ‘So Far’
Louis III is steadily marking himself out as one of the UK’s most intriguing Pop-Soul voices and today he returns with new track, ‘So Far’. His third single, ‘So Far’ follows previous tracks ‘Goosebumps’ and his debut ‘Fever Thoughts‘. Half St. Lucian, half German, singer songwriter Louis III pulls influences from all corners of his childhood music education from Bob Marley to Leonard Cohen placing his love of storytelling at the heart of every release. Speaking on the new track he says, “The song is about devotion, and where that can take you. When two people can’t control themselves and temptation gives way to something else at any time and anywhere”
Masego – ‘Old Age’ FT SiR
It’s about time, and we couldn’t be readier. ‘Lady Lady’ the debut album from Masego is arriving this September and in anticipation Masego shared his new single ‘Old Age’, as an ode to ageless love. Inspired by a Katt Williams stand up special, Masego has collaborated with SiR in celebration of older women, “The main theme of that show was how slept-on older women are,” he told NPR Music. “They got food in their fridge, make love better, and can just know what they want outta life.”
Lauren Faith – Just a Little (prod by Kaytranada)
Produced by Kaytranada, ‘Just A Little’ from Lauren Faith has that perfect pick-me up groove to get you in the mood.
