A Boogie Wit da Hoodie Keeps It Electric

Everywhere A Boogie goes it’s a light show, he’s surrounded..

It’s taken almost 2 years of hype across the channel, before A Boogie Wit da Hoodie finally crossed the seas and arrived on the UK shores for his long awaited debut show.

Last year, with a debut mixtape ‘Artist’ generating all the right kind of hype, A Boogie landed an opening slot at Drake’s Madison Square Garden shows, kicking off a surge of interest in the rising rapper and landing in 2017’s XXL Freshman class alongside Playboi Carti, Amine, Kyle and more. Taking score as the year closes off, A Boogie has fared pretty high in the rankings, breaking out strongly with a platinum hit record, ‘Drowning’ and a debut album, ‘The Bigger Artist’ dropping back in September.

On the last Sunday night before Christmas Eve, Brixton played host to long queues outside the Electric, as 21-year old A Boogie arrived for his sold-out gig as part of a 10-date European tour. Opening with support from UK’s Heavytrackerz, Kojo Funds and Money Change, A Boogie stormed the stage hyper energetic and ready to make his mark. Bringing out more guest appearances from 6ix 9ine, Don Q and Stefflon Don, London wrapped up 2017 with yet another heavyweight show.
