A2 Serves Up The Sick New ‘Holograms’ Video
It seems A2 is one of those artists who’s happy to flit in and out of the spotlight.
He’ll casually pop by to drop a track or feature, throw deuces, then withdraw to parts unknown till it’s time to drop another loosie later. In fact, he does so regularly, and that’s exactly what he’s done with his new, Asylum33 directed ‘Holograms’.
The elusive South Londoner has acquired a reputation for musing missives, broody production and an attention to detail that might border on ‘perfectionism’; though it’s definitely serving him well considering his output. Graciously graded, with hazy red and blue hues; the treatment sees him vibing out – gliding around the city with his clique in tow – showing how things look back through his amnesia tinged tints. It’s directed so well that the cutaways are lined up with the beat.
The bars resonate, the production is quality and it just wouldn’t be ‘A2’ without a quality video to match. The video acts as the Disturbing London signee’s first offering since joining their roster and is likely just a taste of what’s to come from their camp this summer.
