Abisha Drops Debut Visual And She’s Coming For ‘All That’

While there has been some valid criticism lately about the lack of recognition for UK female artists, there has certainly been no lack of talent. And keeping our eye on the talent, is firmly the position we plan to hold into the future.

Speaking of futures, Abisha with her brand of alt-R&B is one to keep an eye on as she sets about making waves. Working with pop music stalwart Mike Chapman – the legendary producer behind Tina Turner’s ‘Simply The Best’ – a chance encounter in a South East London bar brought the two to work together on her evolution of sound.

Now dropping her debut visual for ‘All That’, Abisha while unsigned and going DIY all the way, isn’t cutting corners when it comes to her craft. Awash in a glowing crimson, Abisha explores what happens when love doesn’t work, as viewers are drawn into Abisha’s introspective world of luxe R’n’B.

“The video for ‘All That’ is like a huge visual metaphor of the song, that’s why I love it.” Abisha says of the new video directed by Jack Bridgland, “from the red-lit room to the bath tub and ending being submerged in water; it all symbolises the entrapment that you feel when the love just isn’t right. I hope that this resonates when people watch it and they feel the real vulnerability and honesty within in.”
