It’s happening… Kelela is finally ready to drop her hotly awaited debut album ‘Take Me Apart’, although you’ll have to wait it out over the summer, because the heat ain’t dropping till October 6th.

Sharing her first single from the project, ‘LMK’, the track is a sumptuously produced first look from Kelela. Bass heavy and pitch perfect, Kelela is straight to the point, putting any societal expectations that every woman is looking to settle down. Sometimes “it ain’t that deep”, and all we need is a little heads up on a where your heads at.

The LA singer shared a message with fans last month announcing the album officially.

Kelela’s debut album ‘Take Me Apart’ is out on Warp on October 6, 2017 and you can stream ‘LMK’ here or download it when you pre-order the album.
