Anna Wise Calls Out Who’s Calling Who A ‘BitchSlut’

International Womens Day today has been as much a celebration as a polarisation amongst woman about calling out certain types of women. Call it shade or slutshaming, it’s being thrown about today since the latest Kim K nude selfie, didn’t quite break the internet but broke out some bad bitches getting bodied all over the internet.

“So they’re calling you a bitch, calling you a slut, Cause you dressed up, cause you dressed down, Cause you said no, cause you slept ’round.”

So what an opportune time to call out anyone calling out other women and drop a track called ‘BitchSlut’ and Anna Wise a relative unknown artist in her own right but quite known for her collaborations with Kendrick Lamar, has come through as one of the wise ones. Anna Wise notably featured on ‘These Walls’ alongside Thundercat and Bilal on ‘To Pimp A Butterfly’ and graced her vocals to the original version of “untitled 03 | 05.28.2013.” as performed on The Colbert Report alongside Thundercat, Bilal, Terrace Martin, and now subsequently featured on ‘untitled unmastered’,

‘BitchSlut,’ sets the pace for the debut project from Anna Wise due to drop later this year, following on from the first single ‘Precious Possession’. Of women and her project, Anna has something to say: “There is a theme, and the theme is ‘women.’ Women are great. We’re fucking great, and I want to talk about us. And talk about myself, because I’m a woman. I guess it’s kind of selfish. ‘Let’s talk about me!’
