A$AP Ferg Drops New Track ‘Tatted Angel’
In 2016, A$AP Ferg promises to deliver his hotly anticipated 2nd studio album, slated to be titled ‘Always Strive And Prosper’. To certify it’s pending arrival, Ferg unleashed his first new track for over a year – ‘Tatted Angel’ – over the weekend.
Fresh off his Art Basel art exhibition with photographer Brock Fetch also titled ‘Always Strive And Prosper’ and Adidas Skateboarding collaboration – Traplord x Adi-Ease, each project is dedicated to A$AP Yams, as are his words about losing Ferg on ‘Tatted Angel’ – “Sometimes I wish Yams was never usin’, When we toured the U.K. I knew I’d lose him“. The album is slated to feature a track with Future called ‘New Levels’, plus Skrillex, Chris Brown, Ty Dolla $ign and of course A$AP Mob.
Hit-Boy comes through on production, complimenting the deeply personal reflections from Ferg who tweeted an intro to the track stating – “A few words to my day 1s to let y’all know what I been going through“. Ferg’s been making moves, making mo money but also living through mo problems – this shit is real talk about girl problems, fake friends, and a tribute to A$AP Yams.
