Bas & J. Cole Are On It, So Don’t Sleep On The ‘NightJob’

Dreamville have been laying down the sonic foundation of the label since the top of the year with a slew of projects. 2016 kicked off with releases from Cozz, J. Cole’s live homecoming album and now coming hot on the heels is the major label debut album from Bas, ‘Too High To Riot.

Since dropping his 2014 project, ‘Last Winter’, Bas has kept it warm as the wingman of the Dreamville camp who recently expanded the crew on the ‘Revenge of the Dreamers 2‘ released at the end of the year. BAS, a Queens native, has been working on his album, a quintessential Dreamville project crafting together 12 superior tracks. Dreamville at times feels reminiscent of the early Roc-A-Fella era, but while Bas throws nods to Hov on Methylone, he’s also had jabs to throw at Dame on ‘Too High To Riot’.
