Black Coffee Lined Up For Issue 002 at Printworks
London’s newest multi-purpose cultural hub, Printworks announces events for issue 002 set to land October 7th.
Having been closed over the summer months, Printworks is set to reopen this autumn with another finely tuned season of events on the horizon. The new 10 week schedule will run from October to December with Black Coffee lined up for October 14th.
Born in Durban in KwaZulu Natal and raised in the Eastern Cape in Mthatha, Black Coffee moved back to Durban to study music at Natal Tech where he majored in Jazz. His 2005 debut album ‘Black Coffee’ saw the birth of the pioneering Soulistic House blend that would lead him to becoming one of the most in demand Afro-House producers and DJ’s to date.
His vibrant blends of rhythmic drum patterns and deep bass have made ‘Soulistic Music’ the vocal brand that resonates with people worldwide, from first licensing his music to European audiences, Black Coffee has remained true to his own vibrations and has since seen the likes of P. Diddy and Drake come calling for his midas touch; all while trailblazing a path for African producers of Dance music internationally.
His Printworks set on October 14 promises to be a feast for the soul as he takes the reigns from 12.00 midday uninterrupted until 22.00. Tickets for this will definitely disappear fast so don’t sleep if you want to be involved, sign up for priority tickets
