Cadenza Is Booming From ‘Queens To Brixton’
Say the name Rodigan and you’ve got a legacy and a new Rebel Sound all wrapped into one, stretching generations of sound systems and underground music in the U.K. Add Cadenza into the mix and you’ve got the future generation who’s carrying the DNA through and through.
Cadenza aka Oliver Rodigan if you don’t know already is the son of David Rodigan and is intent on blasting through our sound systems with his new track ‘Queens To Brixton’. The thunderous rolling baseline runs through a popping and bouncing rhythm that epitomises the raw sound of England and a gives a shout out to Brixton – London’s finest borough.
After touring with Major Lazer, Cadenza at just 25 years old, has been establishing his status as a rising star with a heritage only he can boast of and that’s not all he’s resting on. He’s already produced two tracks for Grammy nominated artist Ryan Leslie’s ‘Black Mozart’ album, and dropped collaborations and releases on Fool’s Gold, MixPak and Diplo’s Mad Decent Imprint.
It’s now Cadenza’s moment to boom and he’s firmly focused on doing it with some new material – here’s the new collaboration with Jakwob.
