Chris Brown Drops A Mixtape ‘Before The Party’

10 years ago, Chris Brown released his debut album and fast forward 10 years almost to the day, fans were expecting the arrival of his latest ‘Royalty’. Black Friday didn’t deliver ‘Royalty’ but instead Brown came through with 34 tracks on his surprise mixtape, ‘Before the Party’ for the holiday weekend.

While the latest video for ‘Fine By Me’ heads into the pop chart territory with a dancier direction, ‘Before The Party’ is straight up R&B and a solid effort at that. Loaded with features from Wiz Khalifa, Rihanna, Fetty Wap, French Montana, Wale and Tyga, we don’t know if these songs hit the cutting floor in the recording sessions for ‘Royalty’, but they’re by no means off cuts.
