Dave Drops Brand New ‘Game Over’ EP

Dave comes through with his second EP ‘Game Over’.

The follow up to his ‘Six Paths’ EP, Dave returns with a fresh collection of  seven tracks on ‘Game Over’. |Typically inventive and highly original, ‘Game Over’ signifies Dave’s intention, the rise from adolescence to manhood. From the searing social commentary found on ‘Question Time’ to the personal accounts of navigating love and lust.

I’ve had people try to play me
But I know them days are over
People think I’m going crazy
But I know this game is over

As fans have come to expect with Dave, when it comes to lyricism, he never holds back. That same raw honesty comes into it’s own with tracks ‘Attitude’, ‘Calling Me Out’, and ‘How I Met My Ex’, Dave sings hooks and continues to experiment with melody across the project. With each release it seems Dave is able to refine his storytelling still further, there’s a tongue-in-cheek wit as he creates entire schemes around shopping, foreign cars and German footballers, interchanging names and embellishing spend without dropping a single number.

The EP’s sole feature is provided by Mostack, while production across the seven tracks on ‘Game Over’ comes courtesy of GRM Daily’s Producer of the Year Steel Banglez as well as the critically acclaimed Fraser T. Smith and Dave himself,

Now the game is over, fans of Dave will already be wondering what’s to come both sonically and lyrically for his debut LP, which is sure to be in the works.
