Dr Dre No.1 album in the U.K with Compton

Dr Dre Heading for No.1 In UK Album Chart

Dr Dre has nailed the No.1 album spot in the U.K so far with midweek sales of the ‘Compton’ Soundtrack showing it miles ahead of the rest of the Top 5.

Today’s Official Chart Update reported the album was currently outselling the rest of the Top 5 combined and will be Dre’s first UK No.1 album in the U.K. The last Dre album released 16 years ago ‘Chronic 2001’ peaked in 1999 at No.4 in the U.k album charts. The sales counted are purely off of the exclusive digital format that is currently only available on iTunes to download and to stream on Apple Music.

‘Compton’ is a definitive Dr Dre album and one that’ll be a timeless classic – check out the exclusive interviews with Xzibit, King Mez, Jon Connor and DJ Premier who all talk about working with Dre and their featured tracks on the album ‘Compton’.
