DVSN Album ‘Sept. 5th’ To Drop April 1st In U.K
OVO dropped a surprise release over the weekend but it’s yet to be fully released in the U.K, either way it’s had us losing concentration pining so hard, that we’re almost afraid of spoilers if we read any other reviews or previews before listening to this album.
DVSN now known to be the singer Daniel Daley and producer Nineteen85 – released their debut album ‘Sept. 5th’ at the stroke of midnight on Saturday night straight after the OVO Sound Radio show on Beats 1. With exclusive streaming on the full album release currently locked away with Apple Music in the U.S – the album is expected to be available everywhere else from April 1st.
DVSN’s debut 10 track album has been one of the most hotly anticipated projects for us and while the actual details on the duo are still on side of mystery – we’ve been content to keep digging deep into the first 4 tracks ‘With Me‘, ‘The Line’, ‘Too Deep‘ and ‘Hallucinations‘.
Making their debut on stage at The Fader Fort at SxSW with a surprise performance, DVSN opened the night for the OVO Sound takeover with Daniel on vocals, accompanied by a DJ and gospel choir – all shrouded behind purple smoke and lights.
While you’re waiting to check out the full album here in the U.K, two DVSN remixes of pure R&B classics from Marvin Gaye and Aaliyah have also surfaced online. DVSN get into it too deep on a remix of ‘Let’s Get It On’ below;
Doubling up on an earlier refix of Aaliyah with a dose of ‘Purple Rain’ thrown in for good measure – how much more can we take!
‘Sept. 5th’ the album from DVSN is available to pre-order here released on OVO Sound.
