FKI 1st Goes Solo ‘For What It’s Worth’

Opening for Post Malone on his UK debut ARRIVAL, FKi 1st is no stranger to the U.K and in a short time he’s about to be no stranger to a new legion of fans in the U.K.

Fuckin Kickin It aka FKi started out as an Atlanta production duo, who made waves with their ‘Transformers In The Hood’ mixtape presented by Diplo who’s also happens to be the man behind Mad Decent. Now the Atlanta producer is ready to kick it with his first solo project leading with the single ‘For What It’s Worth‘ produced and performed by 1st and featuring Chicago singer NJOMZA. Delivering some real talk in tune with smooth vocals from NJOMZA, expect the unexpected this is not an Atlanta trap affair this is FKi 1st delivering carving out another new lane.

Next up, FKi 1st will drop his debut album in May ‘First Time for Everything’ on Mad Decent, a 6-track project which will also include guest features from Post Malone, Danny Seth,  Bankroll Fresh, iLoveMakonnen, and more.

If you work you get what you deserve and watching the work rate of FKi 1st with a slew of production credits already to his name on platinum and Gold records, we’re in no doubt about this solo affair. As well as discovering and producing Post Malone’s breakout smash ‘White Iverson‘, there’s been ‘Work’ put in on Iggy Azalea’s career path, as well as credits on ‘Watch Out’ from 2 Chainz; Ty Dolla Sign ‘Issues’; Rich Homie Quan ft. Young Thug ‘Get TF Out My Face’; ‘I Can Tell Off’ off Travis Scott’s Rodeo amongst many others.

Billboard Magazine cited FKi as one of the “Top 5 Producers shifting the sound of Atlanta Rap in 2014” and there’s been no reason to think otherwise over the past few years, as the sound of Atlanta has gone global and beyond.
