G-Eazy Gets Out Of The Dark Side
When it comes to rap album releases this week, looks like G-Eazy’s ‘When It’s Dark Out’ will have an easy run overtaking Rick Ross and Kid Cudi’s new album (currently classed as a Hip-Hop release). Based on early U.S projections, ‘geezy’ is predicted to sell over 100K this week.
No longer overlooked, G-Eazy comes out of the dark with his sophomore release, full to the brim with 17 tracks with some ‘drifting’ in places but freer on the flow. Although not a game changer for the Oakland rapper, he comes correct with the all essential featured guests like Big Sean, Tory Lanez, Chris Brown, Kehlani, Too $hort and with some smooth as fuck production from collaborators Christoph Andersson, Boi-1da and Southside.
Adding the choice cuts ‘You Got Me’, ‘Drifting’, and the lead single ‘Me, Myself & 1‘, after ‘Dark Nights‘ in with Jeremih, you can just as easily drift into checking out G-Eazy ‘When It’s Dark Out’ this week and keep it solid.
G-Eazy will be hitting the road with A$AP Ferg on their double headline U.S tour, before heading to Europe at the end of May to wrap up his dates in the UK;
