Geko Debuts His EP ‘Baba’

Tonight’s the night for Geko, as he makes his debut headline appearance at his sold out gig at the O2 Islington Academy in London. To mark the occasion he’s also released his hotly anticipated EP Baba’ today.

Leading with ‘Baba’ has gotta be the way, as it’s the track that’s already amassed Geko over 3.4 million views on YouTube, and set the pace for what will undoubtedly be his major arrival in 2016. Manchester based and of North African descent, Geko has thrived in and around music since 12, starting out as a fierce young rapper with USG and honing his craft to develop a range of style that’s all of his own making. Geko’s got the swagger and charm to keep the girls feeling some kind of way, and the edge that’s earned him respect in the scene. With a dedicated fanbase behind him, he’s in the pack that’s shining the spotlight on the rise of UK Rap and Afrobeats.

With 10 million combined views already on his own YouTube Channel ‘One Tape Records’ and collaborations with the likes of Lady Leshurr, Mic Righteous and most recently Paige Cakey, Geko is always a conversation starter.
