Geovarn Enlists Producer BNJMN For ‘Blame Me’
One of the key styles in music, that is steadily making its revival back into the greater public consciousness is hazy R&B sounds. Thanks to acts like The Weeknd and Bryson Tiller nu-school R&B is on heavy rotation. North London artist Geovarn is a musician following a similar suit and his latest release ‘Blame Me’ further exemplifies this.
With Film Noir founder and super-producer BNJMN on production duties, ‘Blame Me’ is a melodic, multi-layered cut with a light, airy feel to it. Vocally, Geovarn impresses. Geovarn’s vocally effortlessly lie over the synth fueled beat. Singing about ambition, hunger for success and the growing sense of not caring about what others think or feel – Geovarn is passionate, “I will die before I let these n****s play me, so if I ever switch it up how could you blame me?”.
While Geovarn is still establishing and etching his lane as an artist, with a growing buzz around him as well as a single deal from Sony, it’ll be interesting to watch the next musical move from this Londoner.
