Grime Symphony At The Proms With Ixtra

Grime is going to the Proms and it promises to be a night to remember at London’s Royal Albert Hall.

BBC Radio 1Xtra joins the BBC Proms in a high-octane Late Night celebration of the thriving U.K music scene, from hip hop to grime. Rappers Wretch 32, Stormzy and Krept & Konan join presenters MistaJam and Sian Anderson on stage, to set the Royal Albert Hall dancing in new remixes blending classical and urban styles, with a little help from Jules Buckley and his Metropole Orkest.

Rehearsals are underway for the performance tonight at 22:15 and you can catch a sneak preview across Instagram and Twitter through the day.
