In Memory of Sean Price

Its sad to hear that one of the legends from the 90s Hip-Hop generation passed away earlier today.

According to various sources online Sean Price passed away in his sleep at his home in Brooklyn. The cause of death isn’t known at this time. Sean Price was 43.

Price was originally called Ruck or Ruckus, and a member of ‘Heltah Skeltah’ who together with Rock were part of the Brooklyn based Bootcamp Click collective. As an independent solo artist, Sean Price released several successful projects, regularly toured the UK, and attracted a loyal fanbase.

A couple of years ago I was incredibly fortunate to have Sean Price, Rock, Smiff n Wessun, and Buckshot in the 1xtra studio at the same time for an epic Bootcamp cypher.
