It’s All ‘Love + War’ From Banks and Steelz
Banks & Steelz are Wu-Tang Clan’s RZA and Interpol’s Paul Banks.
Wu Tang Clan’s RZA and Interpol’s Paul Banks team up for a collaboration under the name Banks & Steelz for their first single ‘Love + War’ featuring Ghostface Killah. No one’s keeping score, it’s all fair in love and war, and as RZA says, “For love sometimes we find ourselves at war and the combatants may do anything to win, for me love is worth fighting for, as long as love is not lost.”
In the new video for the single, it’s all going down in this Tarantino-esque confrontation which climaxes with an unexpected dance off. Check out the video above, and prepare for the next evolution of the prolific Wu Producer/MC. The collaboration with Interpol frontman Paul Banks has been in the works since 2013, as the two started out playing chess and eventually began writing songs. Adopting his The Man with the Iron Fists alter ego with the new project, RZA, has dropped the Bobby from Steelz and is simply going by Steelz now.
