Jeezy Blesses Fans With Sensational Sermons

As part of his #SundayService campaign, Atlanta rap veteran Jeezy has been sanctifying his fans with new content every Sunday.

His latest promotional effort for his forthcoming album, CHURCH IN THESE STREETS, is behind the scenes footage from his upcoming video for the track ‘Church In These Streets’, directed by Gabriel Hart.

The 38 year old hasn’t been short of sermons over the past few weeks, dropping four tracks from the LP including ‘GOD’, ‘CITS’, Hustlaz Holiday and the club banger ‘Gold Bottles’. Produced by London on da Track, it’s signature Jizzle, and he’s got something to say about the illuminati: “But when you get your first mil they think that you illuminati” and unveiling the key to winning over a girl in the club: “One thing about them ho, they love them gold bottles.”

This coincides with The Snowman’s recent announcement that he will launch his own brand of champagne called, you guessed it, ‘Project Gold Bottles’. In a press conference, Jeezy spoke positively about his partnership with Avion founder, Ken Austin: “I have long loved high-end tequila and champagne and this love has inspired me to create a rich, full bodied champagne that represents my passion. I am fortunate to have a partner like Ken whose entrepreneurial track record includes my favourite ultra-premium tequila,” he continued: “Ken has a deep understanding of the drinks space and several luxury categories that I know will be invaluable to growing this business. I look forward to bringing a luxury champagne to my fellow artists and fans in the near future.”

Let’s not forget his ‘Pastor Young Letter’, an audio letter preaching to the congregation about poverty in communities across the globe and justifies the radical actions of innocent people in times of mutiny and war. It’s an honourable and touching transcript that Jeezy deploys, using his significant platform to help the government acknowledge and react to problems in our society.

Jeezy’s movement is gathering momentum, his social consciousness could be preaching to the choir or it could resonate with the public and consequently fall on the ears of a wider audience open to the issues he’s sermonising on. CHURCH IN THE STREETS is slated to drop 13th November.
