Joey Bada$$ Is Back Again ‘Front & Centre’

Narcos had us sitting firmly fixed in front of that screen front and centre, and as far as the theme tune goes, it’s an instantly memorable memento from one of Netflix’s biggest original dramas. So trust me when I say this track has nothing to do with sitting down and chilling in front of a screen, Joey Bada$$ put a little freaky twist on that instrumental with his ‘throwaway’ new track ‘Front & Centre’.

The first new music from Bada$$ since his single ‘Devastated‘, ‘Front & Centre’ has only previously been heard on the road during his tour with Schoolboy Q. It’s not looking likely to be a featured track on the forthcoming album, but we’re hoping this is all setting the levels up in the lead in to his new project, as yet only known as ‘AABA’.

Letting off a refix of the Narcos theme tune ‘Tuyo’, by Rodrigo Amarante, the Cookin Soul produced ‘Front & Centre’ features a few choice samples in Spanish, brandished with a bit of a Spanglish flow from Bada$$ himself.
