Jordan Rakei Holds His ‘Nerve’ On New Single

Multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer Jordan Rakei drops new single from upcoming album ‘Wallflower’.

New Zealand born, London based, Jordan Rakei unveils his latest single ‘Nerve’ today, “The song is about the concept of loving yourself wholly and truly before you offset that love onto others,” explains Jordan. A medley of paired back guitar licks and Jazz Soul overtones, ‘Nerve’ is the first hint of what is to come when ‘Wallflower’ is released in September.

Having landed his first break after a chance encounter with electro duo Disclosure, Jordan was featured on their album and has only gone from strength to strength in the time since. Signed to Ninja Tune, Jordan is already enjoying an array of support from early tastemakers and there’s no better time to let the soul spread to your nerves.
