Juls Drops ‘Early’ New Visual Ft. Maleek Berry X Nonso Amadi

Taken from his recent ‘Leap Of Faith’ LP, Juls returns with new visual to ‘Early’.

Both Maleek Berry and Nonso Amadi are on hand to offer the track a smooth R’n’B finish, ‘Early’ is the story of a tempting holiday romance. Shot in Dorset, Juls went in search of an authentic coastline feel.

Known to borrow from multiple genre styles, when creating music Juls likes to play with the dynamics of Afrobeats; when we spoke in June he explained his style, “UK Afrobeats is artists of African origin trying their hands – it’s a way of them trying to connect with their culture and I feel like that stemmed from people going back home. Now obviously, they’ve tried and tried and tried and it wasn’t authentic as it was because with Afrobeats the sounds have to compliment a lot of traditional rhythms or melodies so in Afrobeat there’s a lot of guitars, there’s a lot of percussion in there but UK Afrobeats is very electronic very up tempo. But it’s changing now, and the sound is being more authentic.”
