Kendrick Lamar Breaks Down ‘These Walls’
Kendrick Lamar has his serious and deeper perspective on things, loaded with double-entendres, ‘These Walls’ is probably one of the most lyrically intense and poetic tracks on ‘To Pimp A Butterfly’, so the comedic edge to his epic new video is nothing like we imagined and we like it.
Directed by Colin Tilley & the little homies, K. Dot’s ‘Black Comedy’ tells a story from the slammer about incarceration and a crazy night in the belly of the beast. Featuring everything from talent show cameos from Terry Crews from the U.S comedy hit show Brooklyn Nine Nine – there’s a Tarantino-esqe Pulp-Fiction vibe , booty grindin and definitely nothing but a G-thang going on in the 8 minute visual.
‘These Walls’ features Bilal, Anna Wise and Thundercat – who will be appearing live in London in the coming weeks co-headlining with The Internet.
