King Mez has been catching some attention for a minute on the street, but this 25-year-old rapper/producer has finally taken his place on the grand stage now.

He may have been releasing music since 2009, and although his most recent album, Long Live The King, arrived with little to no fanfare – the world is now watching.

Originally from North Carolina, Mez has already worked with J. Cole and producers 9th Wonder and Khrysis and now with Dr Dre on his side – this MC’s path is paved with gold.

Appearing on three tracks for Compton, “Talk About It,” “Darkside/Gone,” “Satisfiction”  this is going to be a rapper to watch a long time into the future.
