Krept & Konan Announce ‘7 Days, 7 Nights’ Mixtape
Krept & Konan return with news of a mixtape double header.
The duo look to make history next month as the first British act ever to release two mixtapes simultaneously, designed to reflect the style of both artists ‘7 Days’ promises a harder edge, and a club focus with features coming courtesy of J Hus, Skepta, Stormzy and Abra Cadabra. While ‘7 Nights’ is peppered with sultry R’n’B inspired jams, for which the pair have called on Hudson East, Tory Lanez and Jhene Aiko.
“We knew we wanted to create something special that served our fans who discovered us from ‘Tsunami’ to ‘Redrum’ to ‘Young Kingz’ to ‘The Long Way Home’. We wanted to make music that covered the full spectrum of our sound. We knew we wanted the bangers and the jams, and we ended up with enough tracks that we could put out two mixtapes with different vibes.” Krept and Konan have said of the upcoming release.
Listeners get their first preview of what’s to come Friday September 29th when two tracks will be dropped, ‘For Me’ from ‘7 Nights’ and ‘Wo Wo Wo’ from ‘7 ‘ays’. Set for simultaneous release October 20th, the brand new project, 7 Days, 7 Nights is available to pre order now.
