Lil Bibby And Common Speak To Em

Don’t sleep on the city, Chicago has Lil Bibby joining forces with Common to do some serious speaking on the new track, ‘Let Me Speak To Em’ from his forthcoming ‘Free Crack 3’ mixtape, dropping on Black Friday 27th November.

Chicago has had its fair share of controversy surrounding not only the real issue of gun violence on the streets of Chicago but the depiction of the problem from those outside of the city. Spike Lee caught some heat from Lil Bibby himself over the trailer for his forthcoming film ‘Chi-Raq‘, which Lil Bibby tweeted looked like a parody. Earlier in the year in an interview with Hip-Hop Revival he’d been hopeful about the film – “I think it’s good that somebody’s coming in and give light to the City… like show what’s really going on,” he said. “I just hope the storyline is on-point with real life Chicago. …No fake stuff.”

A high school dropout, Lil Bibby appeared on Sways show last year talking about how education wasn’t valued from where he was from but he went back to school recently and studied to finally get his diploma from Liberty High School which he showed off on his Instagram. ‘In the streets my life was hard so every day I thank God’

‘Free Crack 3’ will be the last mixtape in the series from Lil Bibby, with plans to drop a studio album next year. The banging new Metro Boomin produced cut “AwwMan” ft. Future is already available to download and you can stream Lil Bibby’s collab with Common below;
