Mac Is Back With .Paak And ‘Dang!’

There are few in the industry who can top Mac’s work rate right now. After releasing his 2015 album ‘GOOD:AM’, the man of many faces soon set off on a worldwide tour, bagged himself a few features as “Delusional Thomas” alongside Njomza and released a number of singles under his producer moniker “Larry Fisherman”. But this time Mac is back alongside Paak for his new single “DANG!”

As the first release from his hotly anticipated new album “The Divine Feminine”, which includes features from Cee-Lo Green, Kendrick Lamar and Robert Glasper, Mac has sidestepped into a funkier lane for this Pomo produced banger.

The colourful time travelling video directed by his long-time collaborator Rex Arrow see’s Mac doing some serious pavement pounding reminiscent of a young MJ in order to catch the attention of his female companion.

Okay… okay, maybe that’s a tad too far, but remember we have seen worse. See Usher fornicate with a tree in “U Remind Me”. Seriously what was he thinking?

Mac is clearly in a better place now than the infamous drug fuelled bath tub days and it’s showing in the laidback vibes that he’s putting out. With the album set to be released come mid-September Mac is definitely putting his hat in the ring to have the final say on this summer.
