Nas and Erykah Badu Share ‘This Bitter Land’

Nas hasn’t just lent his executive producer credentials to the forthcoming tv musical series ‘The Get Down’ but been busy behind the scenes as executive producer for the forthcoming skate film ‘The Land’.

Starring Erykah Badu, the film premiered at Sundance Film Festival and is now set for a wider theatrical release at the end of the month in the US. Featured tracks from the soundtrack which is due to released on Mass Appeal, have started to surface online and include the newly premiered collaboration with Nas and Erykah Badu. ‘This Bitter Land’, features Erykah and Nas against an emotive orchestral arrangement of violins setting the tone for a moving narrative on the single. This track demands to be played through acoustically sound speakers as you sit back and take in the beauty of the Badu with some survival instincts from Nas.
