Anderson .Paak Is The Next Arrival
With another two sold out Arrival gigs, hot off the heels, DJ Semtex presents the forthcoming Arrival of Anderson .Paak in London on the 25th of Feb 2016 at XoYo.
Anderson .Paak’s been a hot ticket, since his appearance on Dre’s ‘Compton‘ and he’s been keeping relentlessly busy with a slew of collabs and projects from the re-release of his solo album ‘Venice‘; to collabs with Knxledge on their project NxWorries; the ‘The Anderson .Paak’ EP with Blended Babies and features on tracks from Goldlink to Vindata. The L.A based singer/songwriter, rapper and drummer hasn’t been taking anything slow and 2016 looks to be a year where if you don’t know him yet – you’ll be gagging to know him soon enough.
Anderson .Paak laced a number of tracks on ‘Compton’ and Dre clearly knew what he was doing when he added the gritty vocalist on 4 tracks on the album, ‘All In A Day’s Work,’ ‘Issues,’ ‘Medicine Man’ and ‘Animals’. Arrival gigs are for the early ones, the fans who know they just need to be at that debut gig in London, the one where moments are made as an artists hits that U.K stage for the first time.
