Night Lovell Is No Fraud

Unlike most rising rappers out of Canada right now, Ottawa’s Night Lovell thinks calling him a rapper is corny and he’s never messing with the fakes but he’s accumulating a cult following who shadow the low-key 18 year old attentively.

Since dropping his debut mixtape, ‘Concept Vague’, new material has started to surface since the summer in the lead up to a potentially new project, the concept still stays vague and awkward but he’s firmly calling out the ‘Fraud’. With only two videos to date, his last ‘Dark Light’ has clocked over 800,000 views, but Night Lovell doesn’t swagger, “mann im 18 years old and awkward as fuck aint never gon grow out of it.”

Production comes like a beast in the night from frequent collaborator Dylan Brady, and the sound disturbs like it should, with a lo-fi thunder behind Lovell’s far from awkward flow, but hard as nails delivery.
