Oscar Jerome Brings All Star Cast To ‘Smile On A Screen’
Oscar Jerome shares his latest single ‘Smile On A Screen’, the second cut lifted from his ‘Where Are Your Branches’ EP, due January 26th, and it’s an all-star affair.
Working alongside poet, producer and Massive Attack collaborator, James Massiah as well as Moses Boyd on percussion, ‘Smile On A Screen’ is a “tune [that] has grown through being played live,” Jerome says, “it took a while to find its identity when recorded but with a mash-up of mine, Maxwell Owin and Wu-Lu’s production skills it finally found a life of its own.” Rebellious guitar riffs lead the way alongside a sound palette that plays to Jerome’s spoken word strengths.
