Outlook Festival Support Register To Vote Drive
With less than a month left to the UK’s snap general election on June 8, there has been a concerted effort from all corners of the music industry to get young people registered before the May 22nd deadline.
DJs, musicians and writers have not been shy about making their allegiances clear – but more than tribal party politics, the emphasis has been squarely on encouraging disengaged young voters to unlock the power their votes hold.
Now, organisers of Outlook Festival alongside Boomtown Fair, Love Saves The Day and Shambala have joined together with the Mayday initiative as a way of bolstering voter engagement among those aged between 18-25. Outlook Festival will be offering discounted tickets at £100 for this years 10th anniversary edition in Pula, Croatia if you can prove you’ve registered to vote before the May deadline.
Created by the team at Boomtown Fair, the Mayday initiative is just another way the music industry hopes to engage the very people whose future is at stake.
Outlook and Dimensions Festivals support MAYDAY initiative and launch £100 tickets for 18 – 25 year olds who are registered to vote, available only until May 22nd.
