.Paak Is Smooth As A MF in NxWorries ‘Suede’ Video

NxWorries is the collab project between Anderson .Paak and Knxwledge and we know it’s going to be picking up some real heat pretty damn soon.

Following the frenzy that’s been building up around .Paak’s since his head turning features on Dre’s ‘Compton’, this L.A based singer/songwriter, rapper and drummer isn’t taking anything slow. Anderson .Paak already released his debut album ‘Venice’ last year, and is now setting a different tone by teaming up with Knxwledge, a rising beat maker who also now resides in Los Angeles to form NxWorries. The duo are leading the pack of a new wave of musicians coming out of the L.A. beat scene.

Knxwledge a prolific artist and record collector, produces his sound by fusing together soul, jazz and hip-hop and he’s already nailed some production credits on Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp a Butterfly and for Joey Badass on 1999. He’s dropped dozens of remixes and beat tape collections on his Bandcamp, and they’re now compiled on an Anthology.

Knowledge already part of the Stones Throw roster, has been working closely with Anderson .Paak wrapping up the forthcoming album from NxWorries expected soon on the Stones Throw label. Knxledge’s production on ‘Suede’ cleverly samples Gill Scott-Heron’s classic ‘Bottle’, with .Paak oozing a breezy confidence being ‘smooth as a motherfucker, suede on the inside’.

NxWorries previewed the track as a ‘Live in the Dungeon’ session earlier in the year ahead of releasing the new video today which you can check out above.

Expect NxWorries – Knxwledge & Anderson.Paak – to be debuting new material live on their U.S tour with Earl Sweatshirt, all through August & September 2015.
