Post Malone “I’m Just Being Me”
DJ Semtex added another yet sold out show to his Arrival live series, bringing Post Malone to Birthdays in London to kick off his international tour dates. Of course we got all the live footage from Post’s Arrival show together with an backstage exclusive interview with DJ Semtex locked down.
Post Malone is undeniably one fastest rising rapping-singing musicians of the year, his accession and entrance into the hybrid Internet-world of Hip-Hop meets R&B has been insane – taking him from a virtual unknown to working in the studio with Kanye West in a matter of months.
This time last year, little was known of the Dallas musician, prior to the release of “White Iverson” on Soundcloud in February, since then Post Malone has not only amassed a huge following, but bagged a major label deal with Republic Records and faced a slew of media controversy from being accused of being an industry plant to a culture vulture. Seemingly unfazed but it all, Post Malone is content to just do what he does “I’m 20, I’m still figuring alot of stuff out, just letting it ride”.
I’m not trying to surprise nobody
Post Malone is proving he’s not just a one-hit Internet sensation and 9 months and 4,745 miles later, the U.K is all set for singing his every word – word for word.
