Puma x Trapstar Scores at ComplexCon 2017

Trapstar successfully repped the UK streetwear scene at last week’s Complex Con 2017 installation in California this weekend.

The installation “Trapstar(wears) dreams” – is a play on the brand taking over the American dream and reaching new heights – showcasing the brands current AW17 collaboration with Puma. Fits include Puma x Trapstar Football-inspired jerseys and tracksuits, along with Utility Waistcoats and Tartan trousers, keeping the black and red colorway.

The installation included a G-Wagon emblazoned with the Trapstar signature, and the legendary “Trap Phone” – the brands take on the British BT payphone.

The Convention held every year, has become the hub for bringing the best and the most influential game-changers in art, fashion, music and culture all with art exhibition and talks. 2017’s committee included Pharrell Williams, renowned artist Takashi Murakami and Virgil Abloh.

Trapstar has stayed true to it’s ethos of a hustler’s ambition by garnering and keeping the attention of the streets – their line rings off from London to LA. It’s safe to say the brand continues to break the cultural boundaries, just as UK artists break ground the US. Thus, a reputable UK image is being forged that can be recognised internationally. Much appreciation.

Puma x Trapstar’s latest football-themed collab is available now.
