Raheem Bakaré Reaches A New High On ‘Forever You’
Looks like there’s another South London whirlwind in the making, as the U.Ks own R&B rising star Raheem Bakaré is back with his single ’Forever You’.
With nothing to lose but a total commitment to an unapologetically smooth R&B sound and his crooning falsetto, on ‘Forever You’, this is pure class. Produced by MJ Nichols (Earl Sweatshirt, Bobby Shmurda, A$AP Ant, Gunplay) the song is written by Bakaré himself alongside Javal Stewart. Reminiscent of that classic 90’s vibe but with a fresh British soulful sound, it’s future fresh on the production.
”Forever You was written at a time when I found out my ex had fallen out of love. The sentiment behind Forever You tackles the vulnerable state of not being ready to give up on the foundations built with your partner as she would forever be the one in my heart. The harsh reality is that I’d ultimately have to say ‘F*ck You’ to ever let go, hence #FU,” says Bakaré.
With a debut EP breakout ‘AWOL’ under his belt, Raheems return with ’Forever You’ is worth your consideration.
