Ray BLK & More Join The Line Up At The Ultimate Music Seminar
The music industry can sometimes seem daunting and inaccessible to many. But since 2012, The Ultimate Seminar has looked to inspire and enable the next generation to learn valuable business skills as well as gaining insight into their chosen field and benefit from networking opportunities.
Growing in both size and popularity over the years, it has become recognised as a forum to learn, get engaged and feel encouraged. Now in its 7th consecutive year, Europe’s only free major music industry seminar is back and better than ever, bringing together the best of the best in the industry to share their top tips and inside knowledge for music business success.
The inspiration is to bring together aspiring young music professionals for a series of panel discussions chaired by renowned industry leaders at this one day annual event. For attendees, there is a selection of opportunities, from participating in speed-networking sessions, registering for music masterclasses and posing questions directly to panellists throughout the day.
One of the great parts about the Ultimate Seminar is the diverse range of panel discussions and the range of people involved. A ‘Be Inspired’ panel chaired by seminar co-founder Kwame Kwaten will include insights from Nick Raphael, President of Capitol Records UK while BBC Radio’s Nihal Arthanayake will be joined by newly MOBO award-winning producer and singer-songwriter Shakka, producer Cadenza and Atlantic Records publicist and owner of Wired PR Rachel Campbell. Jin Jin and Maegan Cottone, writers behind hits for Jess Glynne, Olly Murs and Tinie Tempah will head up the PRS panel on song-writing and Capital XTRA DJ Manny Norte hosts a breakthrough artist panel set to feature rising songwriter Nick Brewer, grime MC Yungen, six-piece indie rock band Young Kato and singer songwriters Ray Blk and Starling.
Cre8ing Vision founders, Kwame Kwaten, Nicola Charles and Andrea Euell said: “Our goal is to remain consistent in equipping emerging talent and aspiring industry professionals with the unparalleled opportunity to pose questions to a range of heavyweight musical panellists, taking away valuable advice to help forge pathways towards successful careers in music.”
The Ultimate Seminar is devised by Cre8ing Vision and sponsored by a host of predominant companies including Island Records, Ministry of Sound, PRS, Casio, Arts Council, BMI, Odd Child Music and Virgin Records. In association with University of Westminster, the seminar is open to anyone aged sixteen and up, and registration and entry are completely FREE!
