Sampha Announces His Debut ‘Process’
It’s no exaggeration by any means to say that this debut album has been one of the most hugely anticipated – Worldwide!
Sampha today announced the arrival of his debut album titled – ‘Process’ and yep we’re totally gassed! But before you get all amped up, you might have to pace yourselves a little as we have a few more months to wait for this – remember all good things have to run through a process after all.
‘Process’, the ten track album will be released on 3rd February 2017 via Young Turks, and includes the extremely sublime ‘Timmy’s Prayer’ and ‘Blood On Me’. Regardless of the fact that we’ve waiting almost 2 years between Sampha’s EP’s, the appetite for his music has only grown and respect for his art has never faltered. With appearances on albums from Kanye, Solange to Frank Ocean, Sampha’s certified status as a British artist who stands out for his unique 360 approach to writing, production and singing is undeniable.
‘Sundanza’ EP in 2010 and 2013’s ‘Dual’ EP, will be followed in 2017 with ‘Process’, produced by Sampha and Rodaidh McDonald, this will be his story. ‘Process’ will be available on LP, CD and digital download and you can pre-order it now HERE.
But that’s not all, with a few rare shows this year selling out within minutes, next year Sampha will take to the road for a 2017 headline tour including London’s 2,000 capacity Roundhouse and New York’s 3,000 capacity Terminal 5.
