Sunfall Returns To South London In Summer 17

Last year the summer sunshine brought with it a serious selection for music heads in South London, with Moodyman, Benji B, Goldie, Jamie XX all hitting the Sunfall Stages. 2017 brings Sunfall festival back to Brockwell park once again this summer with some of electronic music’s biggest tastemakers in attendance.

The all day festival returns August 12th, founded by a group that lead London’s electro music scene venues – Phonox, XOYO, and The Nest alongside Dimensions and Outlook festival – Sunfall promises a day of unmissable music in this celebration of the underground.

Chicago House music legend Larry Heard AKA Mr. Fingers will appear for his first UK performance in 20 years, in what will be his only UK show of the festival season.

“Larry’s performance at Dimensions last year is still being talked about, so we’re over the moon to have him locked for his first UK live performance in over 20 years. His live show is something else. We also can’t wait for a Theo Parrish extended set, on a great sound system and Floating Points solo live show, which is directed more at the dance floor than the previous live set up” said festival programmer Noah Ball of Dimensions and Outlook festival.

Andy Peyton of The Columbo Group adds: “After the success of last year, we can’t wait to go back to Brockwell Park with an incredible line up. We’re proud that the work we did to create great sound in a central London festival paid off, and are committed to surpass those levels again.”

Other names annouced so far include Floating Points, Gilles Peterson, Jackmaster, Jay Electronica, Madlib, Moses Boyd, Princess Nokia and The Black Madonna.

Sunfall will also be hosting a range of night time sessions across London, will details still to be announced.
