UK Afrobeats is the movement taking the scene by storm, and Nation of Billions bring together some of the forces behind the scene. The lineup includes the Afrobeats kingpin himself, Afro B laying down some ‘Juice & Power’, alongside the super producer trio, Team Salut and Radar Radio’s P Montana. Expect a mix of Afrobeats with Dancehall, House and Hip Hop and the waviest surprise guest PA’s on the night.

The party starts at 8pm all the way till midnight with free entry. Register for your place on the guest list right now:

As one of the earliest promoters of UK Afrobeats, Afro B has witnessed the scene’s evolution from a ground level. “I call it Afrowave,” he says when I ask what this nameless genre is, “but to be honest I would just call it fusion coz it’s a mix of every sound. But ‘fusion’ sounds kinda dead. UK Afrobeats is more authentic, it’s more like what you would hear back home, it’s quite traditional and you hear more of the traditional language. The UK kind of wave stuff, what everyone else is doing is a fusion of Hip-Hop, elements of Dancehall, Afrobeats melodies from the vocalist, Dancehall melodies, references from R’n’B tracks. It’s just everything fused into one – it’s just a vibe.” Check out the #AfroNation Cover Story with Afro B  now.

As they go from strength to strength, Team Salut’s reputation as premier producers is capturing imaginations worldwide. Alongside a co-sign from Usher for their production on Tion Wayne’s ‘Minor’, international fans of their music include Jidenna, Davido, Sarkodie and Mr. Eazi. In the UK, they’ve worked with Yxng Bane, Wusu, Afro B, Eugy, Tion Wayne, Sneakbo and Not3s amongst many more. Team Salut are curating a vibrant sound palette drawing on every dimension of modern music and creating a future forward internationalist sound.
