The Internet Announce U.K Tour Dates With Thundercat
The Internet have just announced a UK tour which will also see Brainfeeder bassist, producer and singer Thundercat co-headline on two of their dates in Manchester and London in November 2015.
The LA based cosmic soul outfit The Internet fronted by Syd and Matt Martians of Odd Future, released their third album, Ego Death, in June. Syd had previously been Odd Future’s DJ and producer, and began writing her own songs making her first full-length album with Matt as The Internet in 2011. The Internet are a six-person band whose youngest member is 17, and all the band members have contributed their talents to this latest album, Ego Death.
This four-date UK Tour kicks off in Glasgow at the O2 ABC2 on November 24th, before Thundercat joins the tour for shows at Manchester’s Academy 2 on November 25th and London KOKO on November 26th, with The Internet closing the tour at Bristol’s Marble Factory on November 27th.
Thundercat, released his latest mini-album, The Beyond/ Where Giants Roam, earlier this year featuring the brilliant track ‘Them Changes’. Aside from his own projects, the legendary musician has featured on Flying Lotus’s last three albums, Kendrick Lamar’s ‘To Pimp a Butterfly’ and Erykah Badu’s ‘New Amerykah Part 1 and Part 2’, among others.
