The Internet Release Triple Video Ahead of London Double Gigs
The Internet invites us to a dope looking house party in their latest triple video release. The visuals for ‘Special Affair/Curse’ brings together three tracks from the groups Grammy nominated album, ‘Ego Death‘, with a surprise appearance from Tyler the Creator on ‘Palace’.
Not content with just one visual, The Internet imaginatively merge together three tracks from their third studio album, ‘Ego Death’ in a four minute long video clip. The imaginative, crisp visuals, were directed by Los-Angeles filmmaker, Calmatic.
Kicking off the proceedings is ‘Special Affair’, which sees The Internet frontwoman, Syd The Kid at a vibey looking house party, complete with smokes and live grooves. Then we’re out of the black and white filters and into a full blow, colourful R&B, neo-soul groove session. For the final part, Odd Future bandmate, Tyler the Creator makes an appearance at the party, to rap his verse to ‘Palace’. The video ends with a barn filled of party-goers, utterly lost in the grooves. Literally, it’s lit from start to finish.
If you’re in the UK then the Internet party continues as they embark on their UK-wide tour, kicking off at KOKO in Camden on Tuesday 8th for two back-to-back, sold out shows, with support from our Next Up tipped songstress Wolfie.
