The Internet Sell Out London And Add Extra U.K Date

After quickly selling out their show at London KOKO, The Internet have announced an additional London date to their UK tour at XOYO on Tuesday 8th December 2015. 

The Internet, the Los Angeles-based R&B/soul band fronted by Syd and Matt Martians who released their third album, Ego Death, in June, added a new date to their UK Tour bringing The Internet back to London XOYO on Tuesday 8th December. 

The tour kicks off in Glasgow at the O2 ABC2 on November 24th, before Thundercat joins the tour for shows at Manchester’s Academy 2 on November 25th and the sold-out London KOKO show on November 26th, with The Internet finishing the first leg of the tour at Bristol’s Marble Factory on November 27th. The Internet will then return to London for the newly-added date at London XOYO on Tuesday 8th December.

The Internet branched off from the Odd Future collective and started their own band in 2011.  Syd had previously been Odd Future’s DJ and producer, but began writing her own songs again making her first full-length album with Matt as The Internet. When they play live, The Internet is a six-person band whose youngest member is 17, will all band members contributing their talents to The Internet’s latest album, Ego Death.

Famed bassist, producer and singer Thundercat who co-headlines two dates of the tour, released his latest mini-album, The Beyond/ Where Giants Roam, earlier this year featuring the brilliant track ‘Them Changes’. Aside from his own projects, the legendary musician has featured on Flying Lotus’s last three albums, Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp a Butterfly and Erykah Badu’s New Amerykah Part 1 and Part 2, among others.
