Time To Talk Women In The Workplace
This autumn, Otegha Uwagba, Angela Saini and June Sarpong come together in partnership with Waterstones for the 4th Estate Literary Salon, tackling issues that surround women in the workplace.
Chaired by presenter and fashion consultant, Grace Woodward, the 4th Estate Literary Salon will bring together three women writers who continue to shape the conversation around gender and industry.

Otegha Uwagba, founder of Women Who – a community for creative working women will be joined by science journalist and the author of Inferior: How Science Got Women Wrong, Angela Saini and television presenter, broadcaster and the author of Diversify June Sarpong MBE at The Book Club for a frank and informed discussion designed to bring voice to the myriad challenges faced by women in industry.
This 4th Estate Literary Salon will look at issues like the practicalities of asking for a pay rise, highlighting the platforms available right now for women seeking to make professional connections that will better enhance your career prospects and the ways in which women can identify signs of discrimination. The panel of experts will be sharing career tips and offering practical advice as well as illuminating research findings centred on the challenges many women continue to face.
