Toddla T Calls On Rachel Foxx For New Release ‘Never Mine’
After a weekend that brought lots of talk about the (in)visibility of black women in UK urban music, Toddla T and Rachel Foxx come through with a take of their own.
Toddla T has never been a stranger to the groove, a lover of Dub and Ska as much as any D’n’B or Jungle means there’s always harmony between bass and melody. His new track ‘Never Mine’ featuring Rachel Foxx plays perfectly to her rich vocal style, a slick gear change from last summer’s Colors Berlin show where she performed ‘To You’. “I’ve always loved Toddla’s production as well as his DJ sets, so this collaboration was a no-brainer. Just very natural.”
Toddla’s very own “Steezey Wonderland” carnival themed events will be making their way to clubs and festivals this summer, and ‘Never Mine’ is a great sign of the vibes to come “Starting 2018 as we mean to continue, this years all about collaborations with new and up coming artists, first up, Rachel Foxx. One of my favourite new voices in the RnB/Soul space. We wrote the song in my studio in a morning, natural vibes.”
