Vic Mensa Shares LGBT Charged Track ‘Free Love’
Vic Mensa has been hella generous of late. Start of the month he dropped his surprise EP ‘There’s A Lot Going On’, now he shares a more emotional cut. Entitled ‘Free Love’, this is Vic Mensa’s thoughts on acceptance for love – of all kinds.
Released over international Pride Weekend, this one from Vic Mensa is a real collaborative effort. Featuring verses from Le1f, Lil B and Malik Yusef, the four rappers go back to back, covering a bunch of politically charged issues such as the North Carolina transgender-excluding bathroom bill, civil right unions and gender-less clothing. After the recent shooting in Orlando shooting, current rights issues and general acceptance of LGBT issues in hip-hop, this Vic track comes at a perfect time.
Vic Also released a note on LGBT rights which he shared on Twitter along with the track. Take a read of the note below, and press play on the track too.
