Vindata Are Moving Through Time And Space
Skrillex certainly seems to think that upcoming LA producers Vindata are worth your attention after discovering them and signing them to his OWSLA imprint.
Branden Ratcliff and Jared Poythress, otherwise known as the Vindata have recently dropped an EP Through Time and Space on SoundCloud. Inspired by hip-hop, R&B and gospel, their electronic sound confidently transitions soulful vocals over a future-bass chopped up melody.
With five features on the EP including Anderson .Paak, Kaleena Zanders, Mack, Kenzie May and Chuck Inglish – every track has someone doing something that’s unheard of. Vindata are adding something pretty different to the mix and it’s apparent they’re not ready to be consigned to a specific genre.
The L.A duo have already grabbed attention with their remixes of Ellie Goulding’s “Beating Heart”, A-Trak and Milo & Otis’ “Out The Speakers” and now with the EP out, they’re getting ready to drop the first video for the single ‘Own Life’ featuring Anderson .Paak.
